We are looking for a Head of Pharmaceutical Partnerships in our Sales team to join us on achieve our goal of enabling care at home for everyone. Best Buy Health aims to enrich lives through technology and meaningful connections. We do that by focusing on consumer health products that help people live healthier lives, device-based emergency response services for the active aging population and virtual care offerings that help connect patients to physicians. This is a critical role that will drive awareness and adoption of Best Buy Health into the pharmaceutical industry. As the Head of Pharma Partnerships, you will build enterprise-wide relationships with pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical and clinical research organizations, enabling utilization of our Current Health platform across their clinical trials and in the delivery of their therapies.
What you’ll do
- Lead strategic engagement to develop long term, enterprise-wide partnerships with pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, and CRO clients
- Build and manage a customer sales funnel of Customers through creative demand generation efforts targeting to C-Level and Clinical Leadership
- Build strategic partnerships with prospective and current customers and act as a voice of the customer internally within various departments of Best Buy Health
- Become a subject matter expert on Current Health’s offerings and reliably represent our capabilities to advance the drug development, delivery, and research priorities of our partners
- Ensure effective day to day engagement with our partners (e.g., Digital Health, Health Economics, Bioinformatics, Medical Affairs, Procurement), including on-site representation at client meetings
- Serve as the primary point of contact for partners, interfacing to align Current Health’s offerings with client needs and selling new products and services to meet those needs Lead development of new business proposals
- - directly contributing to Current Health’s revenues
- Identify client-driven opportunities to enhance existing products, and identify potential new product offerings
- Become an expert on the marketplace, Best Buy Health solutions, and competitive landscape
- Partner with product development on solution-market fit and user feedback
- Work directly with Key Opinion Leaders in the space to build awareness and evidence
- Maintain extensive relationships within pharmaceutical industry
Basic qualifications
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- 5+ years in solutions sales in med-tech, digital health, or clinical technology
- 2+ years experience selling disruptive technologies to multiple stakeholders within a client organization
- 2+ years experience working with Pharma, biopharma, CROs, or Medical Device companies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or MBA preferred
- MSA and contracting expertise is preferred
- Strong written, verbal, and story-telling skills
- Understand privacy and compliance regulation as it relates to the med-tech industry
- Ability to sell multiple projects in a fast-paced start-up
