Position Overview:

As the Head of People at Matt Fendon Law Group, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our organization's culture, fostering employee engagement, and ensuring the well-being and professional development of our team. You will lead our human resources and talent management efforts, ensuring that we attract, retain, and develop top legal talent.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition: Lead the recruitment process for legal professionals and support staff, from job posting to candidate selection.

Employee Relations: Foster a positive workplace culture, resolve employee concerns, and promote open communication.

Performance Management: Implement performance evaluation processes and professional development plans.

Training and Development: Develop and oversee training programs to enhance skills and knowledge among employees including developing and overseeing a 60 day onboarding process for every position in the Firm.

Compensation and Benefits: Manage employee compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Restructuring and managing the Firm’s KPI program keeping all team members in compliance;

HR Compliance: Ensure legal compliance with employment laws, regulations, and internal policies.

Employee Engagement: Promote employee engagement and team-building activities to boost morale.

Change Management: Lead HR aspects of organizational changes and initiatives.

Policy Development: Develop and update HR policies and procedures.

Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the executive team to align HR strategies with organizational goals.

Qualifications:

 

To excel in this role, you should possess:

Leadership Experience: Proven experience in HR or a related field, with a track record of successfully leading a team.

Legal Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the legal industry and the unique challenges it presents.

Strategic Thinker: Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Change Management Skills: Ability to guide the organization through periods of change and growth.

Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and requirements.

Confidentiality: Adherence to strict confidentiality standards.

Work Schedule: This is a full-time position, and you will be required to work onsite at our office.
