Job Summary:

Ruggable, a rapidly growing and innovative disruptor in the home goods industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr. Marketing Director to lead our brand team. The ideal candidate is a driven and creative marketing leader with a deep understanding of the digital and social media landscape and has a keen sense for pop culture. This role requires a passion for the home goods sector and an innate ability to be a trendsetter and compelling brand storyteller. This role will bring our brand strategy to life and will be responsible for Integrated Marketing, product marketing, social media & influencer marketing, PR, and brand campaign execution, with a core focus on driving non-paid traffic and revenue.

This role reports into the Chief Marketing Officer and will work cross functionally with Creative & Production, Digital, Design & Merchandising, Product, and the Ruggable X Partnerships team.

What You'll Do:

  • Strategic Brand Leadership: Develop and execute the annual brand strategy, set KPIs, and lead the Integrated Marketing process to help achieve monthly goals. Focus on growing non-paid traffic and revenue..
  • Brand Evolution and Awareness: Implement and oversee the new brand evolution and awareness campaigns. Continuously analyze and measure campaign performance, collaborating closely with internal teams for iterations and optimizations.
  • Team Management: Directly lead and manage key teams responsible for social media, influencer marketing, public relations, product marketing, and other brand-related activities.
  • Brand Consistency: Act as the primary steward of the brand, ensuring consistency and continuity across all consumer touchpoints, including paid media, digital, social, creative, events, influencer partnerships, and public relations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments and cross-functional teams, particularly creative, design/merchandising, product, digital, and Ruggable X partnership teams, to develop cohesive strategies that align with the company's overall objectives.
  • Calendar & Budget Management: Develop and manage a comprehensive global marketing calendar, ensuring effective collaboration with various cross-functional teams. Set and manage the brand portion of the annual marketing budget.

What You'll Need to Have:

Required:

  • 10+ years experience in brand marketing, preferably in a lifestyle category or in the home goods industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Management, Communication or similar relevant field
  • Proven track record in developing and executing successful brand strategies
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and strong sense of ownership
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Deep understanding of the current marketing landscape, including digital and social media trends
  • Great collaborator and team player

Preferred:

  • Deep passion for home goods & interiors
  • Natural storyteller and tastemaker
  • Experience with SEO and content development

Compensation:

  • $200,000 per year median base salary
  • An annual bonus percentage that varies based on level of role
  • Employer matching (up to 3% of base salary) for company sponsored 401K plan
