05/24/2023(1) Head Football Coaching Position is available at Stevens Middle School for the Fall 2023 season. Depending on qualifications and experience, the head coach will oversee offensive line, defensive line, linebackers, and receivers with offensive coordinator and or special team's coordinator responsibilities. The head coach will assist with the interview process for (1) Assistant Coach. Assistant coaches will participate in practice planning and management, game preparation and management, travel planning and supervision of players, communication with parents and community members, and inventory of equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience coaching middle school or high school varsity football, especially offensive line, defensive line, linebackers, or offensive receivers desired. Recent college playing experience may be substituted for coaching experience.

• Must prioritize sportsmanship, work ethic, organization, and communication with players, staff, and the community.
• Must relate well to student-athletes; must be able to teach fundamental football skills.
• Must display positive qualities such as enthusiasm, a strong work ethic, and loyalty.
• Must represent the program with appropriate behavior and integrity at all times while developing and maintaining productive relationships with other employees, parents, students, and opponents.
• Maintain appropriate levels of confidentiality in all matters pertaining to students, parents, staff, and program.
• Must effectively support the building principal in all aspects of the program.
• Must meet WIAA Coaching Standards, or have the ability and willingness to work toward standards on the PASD final forms platform.
• Must hold current First Aid and CPR Certification, or be enrolled in a certification class.
• Must complete yearly PASD Safe Schools training clinics.
