The Athletics Department at Georgia State University is seeking to hire a Head Volleyball Coach. The Head Volleyball Coach is responsible for various aspects of the volleyball program such as recruiting, training, and coaching team members.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:
The Head Volleyball Coach is responsible for the successful identification, evaluation, and recruitment of academically and athletically qualified student athletes.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Coach, recruit, and student-athlete development for Court Volleyball.
- Develop practice plans and competition schedules.
- Organize and direct student athletes at games and practice sessions.
- Coordination team travel.
- Budget management: determine budget requirements and manage financial aspects of operational, recruitment and scholarship budgets for the Court Volleyball program.
- Counsel and monitor team members in academic, disciplinary, and personal matters.
- Support fundraising efforts for the program.
- Attend all athletic department meetings and other relative events.
- Meet all objectives of the sport within the University, Athletic department, NCAA and Sun Belt rules and regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics or Sr Associate Athletics Director.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and four years of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience. Knowledge of NCAA policies and procedures is required. NCAA certification will be required.
