STAFF ASSISTANT
Haus of Sonder is a dynamic and fast-growing social media and events agency, focused on creating unique and memorable experiences for clients. As a startup, we thrive on innovation, creativity, and a collaborative spirit. We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a Staff Assistant.
The Staff Assistant will play a pivotal role in supporting Haus of Sonder in day-to-day activities. This role is not just about managing schedules; it's about understanding the heartbeat of the business, anticipating needs, and contributing to the overall success of Haus of Sonder. The ideal candidate is someone with a startup mindset, impeccable organizational skills, and a passion for excellence.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING AS A STAFF ASSISTANT
Calendar Management:
- Effectively manage Haus of Sonder schedules, including appointments, meetings, and events.
- Prioritize and coordinate commitments, ensuring optimal use of time and resources.
- Proactively identify and resolve scheduling conflicts.
Task Prioritization:
- Assist in organizing and prioritizing tasks, ensuring that company leaders remain focused on high-priority objectives.
- Prepare leaders for daily meetings, providing relevant information and materials ahead of time.
List Management:
- Oversee and manage various lists, including prospects, new leads, client contacts, venues, partners and all prior lists through Some Great People (SGP)
- Maintain accuracy and completeness of information within lists, ensuring efficient communication and project execution.
Business Insight:
- Think through the lens of profitability, helping to identify opportunities for revenue generation and cost optimization.
- Assist in strategic planning, providing insights and recommendations to enhance business performance.
Problem Solving:
- Anticipate challenges and proactively address them, allowing for smooth operations and minimal disruptions.
- Think creatively to find innovative solutions that contribute to the overall success of Haus of Sonder.
Confidentiality:
- Handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and confidentiality
Communication
- Act as a liaison between company leaders and internal/external stakeholders.
- Draft, review, and edit communications on behalf of company leaders.
Adaptability:
- Thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- Handle unexpected changes and challenges with a positive attitude
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience as an assistant or in a similar role.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Proficiency in productivity tools and software (SalesForce, ASANA & Accountability)

ANTICIPATED SCHEDULE**THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION**
We anticipate that this person will be most effective working onsite at our office in the North Loop area of Minneapolis. This role will require in person connection with the team and in-person meetings, so in-office time is important and expected. Note that parking is paid for by Media Bridge since this position is required to be in-office.
