Form of work*Job Title: Hardware Test Engineer*
*Location: Oxnard, California 93030*
*Duration: 06+ Months Contract with possible Extension.*
*Duties:*
* Designs, develops, and implements testing methods and equipment.
* Plans and arranges the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices.
* Provides test area with parameters for sample testing and specifies tests to be performed.
* Compiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements.
* Responsible for testing all customer samples and for special tests that cannot be performed in the test area.
*Experience:*
* Minimum of two (2) years of applicable experience in testing, systems engineering, design engineering, manufacturing engineering, or other.
* Demonstrated problem solving skills with hands-on project experience.
* Excellent communication skills - presentation, oral, written, and listening.
* Self-motivated with the ability to organize and prioritize job assignments and tasks.
* Ability to work independently as well as in an integrated team and adapt to change and dynamic requirements.
* Demonstrated technical writing and/or procedure development skills.
* Demonstrated experience with testing automation or other lean manufacturing/testing methodologies.
*Education*:
* Bachelor Degree in an engineering or STEM related field.
