Form of workDesign, develop, modify, or evaluate electronic parts, components, integrated circuitry, or systems related to Microsoft technologies. Research, design, develop, or test computer or computer-related equipment used in the manufacturing and installation of Microsoft technologies. Define design approaches, technical specifications, and parameters for devices. Select materials and components based on analysis of specifications and reliability. Develop test plans and test cases for design testing or prototype fabrication. Analyze designs to establish intended operating parameters, conduct experimental tests, and perform analyses on data generated from test results to verify and validate whether operating parameters are met. Identify root causes for technical issues, flaws, and design challenges, and develop and implement solutions. Track new developments in the industry, which may include an emphasis on regulatory compliance requirements, quality, security, and suspicious activity reports. Telecommute work permitted less than 50% per week within the same geographic area as assigned Microsoft office location.
Minimum Requirements- EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Hardware Engineering, or a related field.
- EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: Three (3) years of experience designing, implementing and/or testing computer hardware.
- EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE IN: Must include at least 36 months of experience in: RTL; Verilog; FPGA; Networks, TCP/IP RDMA, Network Systems, and at least education or experience in: Unit Testing; UVM; Unit Level and Full Chip Verification.

Pay Range and Benefits InformationThe offered base pay range for this specific position (Job Code: TSSKH17514), in Redmond, WA, is $196,273 to $226,273.
Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.
