KI, a world class supplier of innovative and award-winning furniture solutions for business, educational, and healthcare environments, is seeking a full-time Hand Welder/Equipment Operator to join our Green Bay manufacturing facility on our 1st shift. A $1.00/hour raise is also given within the first year of employment.

Job Duties:
This position is responsible for hand welding miscellaneous product for our manufacturing facility and other KI facilities. In addition, individuals in this role with assist other fabrication cells with bending operations, welding, and fabricating parts. Specific job duties include:
- Successfully hand weld product based upon production schedule needs
- Maintain high levels of quality and ensure product is welded properly
- Operate fabrication equipment in multiple cells such as Robotic Welders, Hydraulic Banks, Saws, Benders, Drill Presses
- Operate tools required in all fabrication cells such as hand held drills/screw guns, riveters, impact tools, screw drivers, wrenches and any other tools that may be required in the area.
- Operating, editing and programming tube or wire bending equipment in the cell.
- Train new employees.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Leadership experience/training helpful (but not required).
Value Added Skills:
- Mechanically inclined with previous manufacturing experience, but not required
- Team Player
- Computer knowledge
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to train on any shift
- Positive Attitude
Physical Requirements:
- Working in areas where it can get warm
- Working in a smoke free environment
- Activities including standing, walking, lifting, twisting and bending
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to assist in any given area of the plant if your area is slow
Shift:
- This is a 1st Shift position
- Hours are 6am-2pm Monday - Friday
- Overtime during busy season
