FIRST TEAM HAMPTON CHEVROLET has immediate opening for a Counter Person! Full-Time Position!
First Team Automotive Group is family-owned and operated group of dealerships in the Hampton Roads area! We are growing and need Parts Counter Person to help us achieve our great level customer service and on-time parts delivery! Join our Team! Position requires a Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all Customers receive their ordered parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
• Inform Customers of part requirements and specials.
• Answer phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
• Provide high level of Customer Service to both Internal and External Customers.
• Locate out-of-stock parts from outside sources and submit an emergency order, if necessary.
• Follow up on back-ordered parts.
• Ensure that all Customers receive their copy of the Invoice.
• Keep orderly records of all Repair Orders, Invoices, Insurance Estimates, and Special Order Parts.
• Maintain professional appearance and decorum at all times.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Duties include, but not limited to daily stocking, processing returns, cleaning, assist Customers and Technicians, assist local Vendors, and more.

Experience and Skills
Requirements:

• Detail oriented and able to ensure accuracy in all work assignments.
• Organized and able to perform under pressure in order to meet stated deadlines.
• Able to multi-task and prioritize assignments.
• Communicate effectively with Co-Workers and be a Team player.
• Flexibility to work variable schedules, including Saturdays.
• Exceptional Customer Service.
• Able to lift 50lbs comfortably.

Additional Requirements:

• Automotive Parts Sales experience preferred.
• CDK System experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and Customer Service skills.
• High school diploma or GED
