The Christian mission of the Geneseo-Atkinson Food Pantry is to provide food, clothing, and short-term emergency assistance for families and individuals in need. We aim to serve the whole person, striving to positively impact our guests’ total sense of wellness – economic, education, health, environment, and community – with the ambition of empowering our guests to live more functional, effective, and healthy lives.
The successful Guest Services person will compassionately focus on the needs of GAFP guests, volunteers, donors, and the many members of the community we interact with.
GAFP believes we need to look beyond food if we’re truly going to end hunger in our communities served. As such, this is not your “typical” food pantry position.
