Guest Services and Sales Coordinator
The role of Guest Services and Sales Coordinator is an integral part of supporting and connecting with the front desk team and being a part of revenue making process to ensure revenue budgets are met. For the Guest Services portion, it requires an individual who is comfortable and flexible with all three shifts (AM, PM, Night Audit) at the front desk and can provide excellent customer service. For the sales portion, it requires an individual who enjoys coordinating and detailing guest needs. It requires the ability to coordinate with all departments to ensure a smooth and successful process for the group stay.
The tasks include:
Provide front desk coverage for up to 32 hours a week as scheduled (for all three shifts as needed)- report to AGM and GM.
Handle meeting room bookings, set up, and billing. Field Group sales leads- inquiries, sales agreements, Fosse group blocking and releases, following up with group block progress, ensure payment, provide smooth check in and stay, and complete post billing items, including posting group points.
Report to GM and Regional DOS in a timely manner on OneSource leads and other leads; including a weekly report on sales leads, sales agreements blocked (and actualized numbers), and any other items pertaining to sales.
Attend Property revenue calls and note action items for implementation to increase revenue.
Coordinate with front desk, breakfast and housekeeping department on what is needed for meeting room bookings and group stays to be timely and successful.
Schedule will vary depending based on group needs, generally flexible outside of desk coverage.
