Position: Guest Service Agent

Overview:
Five Star Luxury Travel is seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual with previous experience in luxury Guest Services to join our team as a Guest Service Agent. As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and play a crucial role in ensuring their satisfaction and providing exceptional service. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and advancement in the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, providing a positive first impression
- Check-in and check-out guests efficiently, ensuring accuracy in reservations and payments
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries promptly and professionally
- Assist guests with special requests, such as room upgrades or additional amenities
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with empathy and resolve issues to ensure guest satisfaction
- Perform night audit duties, including reconciling accounts and preparing reports
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Inspect rooms to ensure they meet the company's standards
Requirements:
- Previous experience in front desk or Guest Service roles preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in using phone systems and other office equipment
- Knowledge of hotel management software is a plus
- Multilingual abilities are highly desirable (bilingual in English and another language)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $47,000.00 - $54,000.00 per year
