Role Mission

The Gucci temporary Merchandising and Inventory Planning Assistant for Outlets will support the outlet team with the merchandising and inventory planning administration. The assistant will be responsible for regular and on-going communication with corporate cross-functional teams, warehouse partners, as well as our outlet store teams.

Key Accountabilities

• Assist with pulling weekly reporting and recaps;
• Monitor sales and support with the control of stock levels in the region;
• Assist with the allocation of product to stores based on the individual store performance and the seasonal assortment strategies necessary to support sales objectives;
• Support with the daily allocation and replenishment from the warehouse distribution center to stores;
• Partner with the team to ensure that based on the seasonal assortment matrix, the correct balance of inventory is in the stores;
• Assist with the daily addressing and fulfillment of store-to-store transfer requests;
• Provide administrative support to the merchandising team as needed.

Key Requirements

• College degree preferred;
• 1-year previous experience in retail, service, or other fast paced environments;
• Strong written and oral communication skills;
• Must be highly organized and detail-oriented;
• Excellent follow up and follow through, ensuring that all tasks are taken to full completion;
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred (Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Word);
• Must be an analytical and creative problem-solver;
• Sense of urgency and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment;
• Team player with an enthusiastic outlook.

Salary Range - New York City

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York City, GUCCI includes a reasonable estimate of the salary or hourly rate range for this role. This considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications. In addition, where a candidate falls within the disclosed range estimate may be dependent on the applicable geographic differential associated with the location in which the position may be filled.

A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range is $24.03 per hour USD to $31.25 per hour USD.
