Responsible for purchasing goods / services for residents servedMonitor medication administration and documentation to ensure quality of care for all individualsManage needed follow-up for all medical issuesEnsure compliance with all applicable Agency for Persons with Disabilities. Develop and implement plans of correction as neededBe available by cell phone/email 24 hours a day as needed to provide support and direction to staff concerning resident careConduct appropriate and comprehensive follow up to all incidents and issues relative to consumer health, safety, and welfareEnsure confidentiality is maintained as it relates to staff and consumer issuesDevelop and maintain client central files to include Support Plan, Authorization of Services, Individual Progress Plans (IPP) and quarterly progress notes on an on-going basisEnsure all client files are complete and accurate; perform routine central file review as requestedCoordinate IPP meetings and attend Support Plan meetings, functioning as an effective liaison between programs and individualsOversee the implementation of all training programs specific to community- based programAct as a liaison with community service providers, families, and funding sources to advocate for individuals served.Maintain a professional and personal demeanor with internal and external customers and members of the public which promotes positive good will toward Quest and persons servedEnsure compliance with company safety regulations and requirementsEnsure all services are compliant with applicable Federal and State standardsAttend, participate and/or conduct all department meetingsResponsible for other duties and special projects as requested by SupervisorGroup Home Director QualificationsBA/BS in Human Services or related field requiredMinimum 2 years' experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or a related health care field required1-3 years' experience in a supervisory role requiredFlorida Driver's License with no more than two moving violations in the past three yearsAble to work in the US and not require Visa Sponsorship from our company now or in the futureAbility to:Communicate effectively; verbally and writtenCompetent computer-skills knowledge of Microsoft Word and ExcelComplete tasks and responsibilities with minimal supervisionEffectively manage time and prioritize tasksHandle multiple tasks simultaneouslyModel professional interactions and separate personal from professional issues in the workplaceBe an effective team member who is innovative, proactive, and focused on quality improvementsProvide superior quality service to internal and external customersCreate a safe work environment where everyone is treated with dignity, compassion, and respectProvide positive leadership by being a good role model to consumers and staffEffectively manage a crisis in a calm mannerEffectively function as a professional representative in committee meetings and/or special project teamsSuccessfully negotiate/facilitate employee relationsProvide effective oversight of regulatory complianceEqual Opportunity Employer/Disability/VeteransEmployment Type: FULL_TIME
