Falk Recreation Center is the fitness facility for the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY. We aim to create a clean, friendly and relaxed environment for our members to focus on their own health, wellness and fitness goals.
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Group Fitness Instructor with kickboxing and Pilates certifications to lead Group Fitness classes, teach exercise principles and provide a fun, welcoming environment to all members. We're specifically looking for a qualified candidate that can lead by example, inspire others to reach their goals and encourage students to become lifelong learners. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fitness and ready to embrace the challenges of a fast-paced work environment. Multiple certifications or class options is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a professional attitude toward your appearance, knowledge base and fitness class instruction.
- Demonstrate proper techniques for each exercise and skill you teach.
- Be able to give correct and current information to participants.
- Be able to help participants with their health, wellness and consistency.
- Be able to adjust class difficulty levels to help people improve their fitness level.
- Be able to design an exercise program that is appropriate for a person's particular fitness level.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $68.00 per hour

- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
License/Certification:
