Group Facilitaor

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Group Facilitator to join our team. As a Group Facilitator, you will be responsible for leading and facilitating group therapy sessions to support individuals in their journey towards personal growth and healing. Responsibilities:
- Plan and facilitate group therapy sessions in accordance with established guidelines and treatment plans
- Create a safe and supportive environment for participants to share their experiences and emotions
- Guide group discussions and encourage active participation from all members
- Provide emotional support, guidance, and feedback to group members
- Monitor group dynamics and intervene as needed to maintain a respectful and productive atmosphere
- Collaborate with other members of the treatment team to ensure coordinated care for participants
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of participant progress and attendance

Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with participants
- Active listening skills to effectively understand and respond to participant needs
- Empathy and compassion towards individuals facing challenges or trauma
- Ability to facilitate group discussions and manage conflicts within the group setting
- Knowledge of therapeutic techniques and interventions used in group therapy
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
