Title: PartTime Groundskeeper/Porter - New Orleans
Rampart Multi-Family Management, a top leader in the Property Management business, currently has an opening for a Groundskeeper.
Duties for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Constantly observes condition of apartment community throughout and immediately reports and/or initiates action to correct unsafe conditions.
- Physically walk the community on a frequent basis and removes litter, debris and pet droppings from the grounds.
- Perform "trash-out" duties at vacated apartments on a daily basis.
- Details community on a regular basis. Cleans and rakes shrub areas; keeps sidewalks and walking areas clean of loose grass and brush.
- Assist with "make-ready" duties when requested by the Site Manager or Maintenance Supervisor.
- Help clean and maintain storage areas.
- Perform interior and exterior painting duties when requested.
- Complete minor and routine service requests when requested by Site Manager and/or Maintenance Supervisor.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by Maintenance Supervisor and Site Manager.
Qualifications for this position:
- At least 1 year experience in grounds-keeping / porter work preferred, not required
- Able to take direction
- Effectively prioritize and multi-task
- Excellent people skills
- Strong working knowledge and skilled in the use of required equipment and hand tools
- Dependable
- Proactive, initiate follow-through
