Grounds Keeper

Reports to: Maintenance Manager

Employment Type: Full Time

POSITION SUMMARY: Under general direction, responsible for minor maintenance at RSG facilities and on office equipment.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:

• Responsible for cleaning, organizing, and maintaining the grounds of the facility.

• Perform minor maintenance on plant and office equipment.

• Performs minor building repair work on doors, docks, windows, and floors.

• Performs painting as required.

• Performs remodeling work as required.

• Complies with all safety regulations and company policies, familiar with lockout/tagout.

• Responsible for housekeeping around his/her general area and returning tools to the proper locations.

Safety Training Requirements:

• Maintains a clean, safe, organized work area.
• Reports to Supervisor any unsafe equipment or conditions that exist.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Skill in using all types of hand and power tools.
• Carpentry skills preferred

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma, GED equivalent.
• Maintenance experience in a production facility is preferred.
