Position Overview::

To oversee daily operations of grounds staff on the Bethany Village campus.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

· Assuring compliance with all OSHA, DOH, & and environmental regulations.

· Maintaining the appearance and operation of Bethany Village's buildings and grounds.

· Schedules improvements and construction projects.

· Supervise and manage all grounds and repair services.

· Obtains quotes for the purchase of specialty grounds equipment, supplies, and labor for projects.

· Have knowledge of the Disaster and Fire procedures

· Is a member of the Disaster Team

· Effectively communicate with residents, staff, outside agencies, contractors, and other departments.

· Adheres to all established safety regulations.

· Responsible for inventory and ordering of all grounds supplies.

· Responsible for scheduling of all grounds personnel.

· Responsible for assignment and follow through of all work orders and projects.

· Responsibilities to include daily reporting to the Director of Maintenance on work order completion, project progression, inventory control and scheduling.

· Endorses and complies with the vision, objectives, procedures and policies of Bethany Village and the Maintenance Department.

· Seasonal decorating of the outside of the campus.

· All other duties as assigned.

Education Required:

• High School Diploma recommended for this position.
• Ability to read, speak and write English is required.

Experience Required:

Excellent organizational skills; multi-tasking skills, supervisory experience, and general knowledge of plant operations including all heating/cooling and knowledge of industrial boilers a must.

· 2 to 5 years' experience in maintenance or related field required.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
