Compensation: $15-$17 per hour.

Position Summary: Pullman Market, a vibrant culinary destination celebrated for its farm-to-table commitment, is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Grocery Team Member to join our esteemed team. As an integral part of our section, you will ensure the shelves are adequately stocked, maintain high levels of cleanliness and organization, and assist the Grocery Manager with order processing and display construction. Your exceptional customer service skills will be crucial as you interact with patrons on the sales floor, providing support and guidance. You will also be responsible for various tasks as assigned by the Grocery Manager, contributing to the seamless operation of our market and elevating the overall customer experience.

Responsibilities:

● Uphold proper stocking, sanitation, and rotation practices within the grocery section.

● Accurately and efficiently process orders.

● Collaborate with the Grocery Manager to create appealing and functional displays.

● Engage with customers on the sales floor, delivering top-notch service and guidance.

● Perform other assigned tasks to support the overall function of the market.

Requirements:

● Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or retail is preferred.

● Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

● Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

● Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

● A genuine passion for locally sourced products and culinary offerings is advantageous.

Working Conditions:

● Typical work week for this position is 30-40 hours. Hours vary based on needs of the market and department.

● This role involves prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, lifting objects up to 45 pounds, and repetitive hand and wrist movements. ● Exposure to hot, cold, and potentially hazardous equipment is possible. ● Familiarity with office equipment such as phones, computers, fax machines, and copiers may be required.
