JOB SUMMARY
Provides labor support to all activities performed by the Golf Course Maintenance department. Adheres to Dormie Network Company policies. Follows all Dormie Network's Safety Program rules and regulations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Performs routine maintenance of the Golf Course property which includes raking bunkers, operating backpack mower, shoveling, walk/push mow greens.
- Gives support to any Golf Course Maintenance activity.
- Performs all jobs to specific standards with the greatest care.
- Adapts to all Golf Course etiquette rules.
- Keeps supervisors informed of any damage to, or any problems with, and club facilities or property.
- Informs supervisors of any problems or incidents that may have occurred on the job.
- Maintains club personal appearance standards. Wears assigned uniforms.
- Adheres to all Dormie Network's policies and procedures.
- Works with all other employees to become an efficient working team.
- Responsible for taking directions from the assistant superintendent and performing the assigned task with limited supervision.
- Possesses and understanding of the importance of safety and sees that safe operation procedures are observed in all daily activities. Adheres to all safety codes.
- Performs efficient operation of all equipment.
- Possesses an understanding of the equipment and how to best maintain it for maximum life and minimum downtime.
- Assists in all other special projects as directed.
- Must be well groomed at all times while on the property.
- Must be well mannered, display a smile at all times, greet guests, members, and fellow employees when encountered, show appreciation to the guests and the members, and demonstrate a willingness to help guests and members at all times.

- Working knowledge of light equipment used for lawncare maintenance.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school Diploma and or GED.
- Golf Course Maintenance crew experience of at least 1-3 years.
PHYISCAL REQUIREMENTS
- Prolonged periods standing and walking.
- Able to walk and maneuver on uneven surface.
- Able to bend, crouch, stretch, push, pull and move as needed to utilize machinery and equipment.
- Must be able to visually inspect machinery, materials and course quality.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to drive local machinery, if licensed.
- Able to communicate with others.
