GRC Analyst
Remote, United States
Responsibilities:

• Actively lead projects in support of ISO 27001 certification
• Communicate with stakeholders to effectively convey technical and process improvements
• Work with internal teams to understand their business processes, how they manage risks, advise on their compliance needs and concerns and remediate new and outstanding issues
• Collaborate across teams fostering engagement and building relationships - while acting as an analyst and compliance advisor
• Further develop our compliance program to assess and enforce compliance with cybersecurity policies and standards
• Document audit procedures performed ensuring audit methodology is consistently followed and conclusions are appropriately reached.
• Draft concise and clear audit reports
• Develop and maintain metrics to support the measurement of program and operational effectiveness
• Promote a security-focused culture within the organization

Requirements:

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of relevant industry experience, ideally focused on compliance
• Deep knowledge of ISO 27001
• Strong knowledge of IT security across various frameworks (i.e., NIST, SOC1, SOC2)
• Passion for identifying and addressing security and compliance issues
• Experience with audits within a complex technology and regulatory environment
• Willingness to learn and grow in other compliance areas, such as Privacy and SOX
• Technical understanding of IT processes - including applications and infrastructure, security and vulnerability assessments, change control, asset management, disaster recovery, data privacy, and IT risk assessment, automated control environments, cybersecurity best practices, Cloud security controls etc.
• Ability to write clear documentation, and diagram data mappings and workflows
• Ability to work cross-functionally with stakeholders from teams across the organization
• Detail-oriented, organized, ethical, responsible and self-motivated with a strong internal drive and bias for action
• Strong verbal and communication skills
• Demonstrated data-driven decision-making skills

The pay range for this position is $84,189 - $204,468.The actual pay will vary based on geographic location, job requirements, professional experience, and other factors.
