Summary/Objective
The Graphic Designer is responsible for executing graphic design and digital assets, with a strong focus on updating and editing existing files, adhering to brand and style guide standards, and collaborating with cross functional teams to produce high-quality campaigns and other design deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Creates marketing materials that effectively express brand standards while delivering on strategy.
- Responsible for effectively communicating with vendors and internal stakeholders on specification, hand-off assets, and ensure designs are free of errors prior to final delivery.
- Responsible for the visual style used across all channels (print, billboards, digital media, social media).
- Organize information from multiple sources, including feedback from others, to reach thoughtful design solutions.
- Manages communication with outside vendors related to the completion of required tasks.
- Partner effectively with advertising team and other cross-functional team members.
- Maintains daily assigned workflow and deliver pieces as required by assigned deadlines and escalates potential issues.
- Work collaboratively, presenting your work for internal critiques and team reviews.
- Reviews designs for errors before printing and publishing them.
- Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.
- Attend and actively contribute to brainstorming sessions and project meetings.
- Maintain archive of images, photos, or previous work products.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Design or related field preferred; three to five years' experience in a digital and/or print production environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- An online portfolio that demonstrates creative print and digital design experience and formal understanding of typography, color theory, design fundamentals, and basic brand understanding is required.
- A high level of skill in the following Adobe programs: Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills.
