Graphic Designer Intern / Temporary Position

Progressive, growing manufacturing Company seeking a highly-motivated individual passionate about graphic design looking for a Temporary Position to enhance and grow their portfolio. Successful Candidate will use design skills to produce e-blasts, flyers, company literature, social graphics, advertisements, etc. as needed by the Marketing Department. Proficiency and experience in the Adobe Suite is a must, and creativity is highly encouraged; we love new ideas!

Full Time, Temporary (Jan-June)

Essential Functions:

• Create and design marketing pieces as needed for print and web-based use across all brands including but not limited to: Brochures, flyers, e-blasts, promotional products and advertisements
• Aid in the re-design and implementation of all current design pieces based on new brand guidelines
• Edit and manipulate photos as needed
• Present conceptual thinking and design strategy through proofs and preliminary sketches
• Work with Web Development Team to update and maintain websites

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proficient and well-versed in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator, as well as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Knowledgeable of printing processes, and able to prepare documents effectively for print or web use
• Capable of using photo editing software such as LightRoom as directed
• Copywriting skills not required but strongly considered
• Willing to contribute ideas, and work independently and in a team environment

Education & Experience:

• Pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Communication Design, or relevant discipline
• Experience in related field a bonus
