Graphic Designer

Fervor is looking for a Graphic Designer to join our team - a team that uses our trade to impact the world for good.
We are seeking a talented and passionate Graphic Designer to join our team. As a Graphic Designer, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients effectively communicate their message to their target audience. With a strong understanding of visual communication, typography, and branding, you will work closely with our creative team to create compelling designs that resonate with our clients' values.

BIG PICTURE FOR THE GRAPHIC DESIGNER:

• Work closely with the Creative Director and cross-functional teams to interpret creative briefs and translate them into visually compelling designs.
• Stay updated on design trends and industry best practices to bring fresh and innovative ideas to the table.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining a high standard of quality in all work produced.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm, develop, and execute creative concepts for various marketing campaigns and projects.
• Create visually appealing designs, including logos, brochures, posters, social media graphics, and other marketing materials.
• Ensure all designs are consistent with the client's brand guidelines and accurately represent their vision and mission.
• Edit and retouch photos to ensure high-quality visuals that align with the client's objectives.

Requirements

• 5 or more years of professional experience in graphic design.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design software.
• Proven track record of successfully translating creative direction into cohesive brand experiences.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design styles and projects.
• Experience in designing for email campaigns, web, and social media platforms.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisions.
• Proven graphic design experience, preferably in a marketing or agency setting.
• Excellent understanding of typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a deadline-driven environment.
• It's easy for you to multitask and prioritize based on account demands and client needs.
• You are not afraid to handle lots of online systems. You're no stranger to project management tools like Asana, Google Drive, Google calendar and others.

This is a full-time exempt position with a salary commensurate with experience.
We utilize a hybrid work schedule, working regularly from our office in Kansas City, MO.
