Graphic Designer

Are you a creative and talented Graphic Designer with a passion for leading and inspiring a team? Super Bright LEDs, a dynamic and innovative eCommerce leader in LED lighting products, is seeking a Lead Graphic Designer to spearhead graphic design efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating impactful product graphics, banners, and various other design elements crucial for our website and marketing materials.

Position: Lead Graphic Designer
Location: Earth City, MO (Hybrid Eligible After 90 days)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Salaried
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, Flexible Hours

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate a small creative team of Graphic Designers.
• Work closely with the Product Director to improve process efficiencies for new and existing projects.
• Collaborate with the Product Management team on product graphic requests for product photo galleries, product pages, and banners for the website.
• Collaborate to make high-level decisions on the strategy, conception, and user experience improvements and solutions on our website.
• Responsible for the production and conceptualization of effective, intuitive web-based content, UI Design, patterns, icons, color schemes, typography, and photography that improve user experiences on our website and social channels.
• Design high quality content that is on-brand, creative, compliant, and appropriate for project objectives.
• Build presentations and participate in strategy sessions and art reviews with Digital Marketing Manager, Product Director, and President.
• Stay up to date with the latest graphic design trends, technologies, and platforms and how they can be applied to our current design.
• Coordinate responsive design and create layouts and graphics which can be displayed across a wide array of screen sizes and mediums.
• Cultivate a positive team dynamic and exhibit a professional attitude by demonstrating a good balance between creativity and practical flexibility.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, computer graphics, or related field
• Proven experience as a Graphic Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects
• Ability to create design concepts from scratch, using most notably Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, and Figma
• Expert use of graphic design software, including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe XD, Figma and other visual design tools
• A solid understanding of designing intuitive site functionality, color schemes, typography, and navigation
• Proficient in HTML and CSS preferred, but not required
• Demonstrative leadership experience with the ability to lead and inspire a team
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to articulate design concepts to both team members and non-design stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics and a commitment to delivering polished and professional designs.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
