Position Overview:
This internship will provide various training and educational opportunities. Each intern will participate in an in-depth training certification program outlining foundational skills and processes for entry-level graphic arts. Interns will gain industry knowledge and product knowledge with a final capstone presentation Additionally, interns will participate in a peer-to-peer cohort to ask questions, share experiences, and learn best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts
- Communicates artistic themes in flyers, posters, drink lists, handbooks, or other company presentation materials for our customers and suppliers
- Assemble final layouts to prepare layouts for printer
- Production Work - photocopying, cutting, folding, mounting, and laminating
- Develop social media content
- Safe operation of all equipment used in the department
- Handle additional assignments as required
Requirements
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledgeable of Adobe Creative Suite
- Understanding and knowledge of Social Media platforms
- Creative design skills
- Outstanding attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Communicates effectively, both orally and in writing
- Ability to handle time-sensitive initiatives
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Team player who collaborates well with others
Education/Experience/Training:
- The Graphic Design Intern is a student who may be pursuing a bachelor's degree or Certificate in Graphic Design or a related field.
Internship Duration: May 2024 (begins) through July 2024 (ends)
Compensation:
- $18 per hour, 40 hours per week
