SalaryWe are seeking an energetic and motivated Graphic Designer who can translate marketing objectives into creative strategies, concepts, illustrations, and designs. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for producing and managing a wide variety of projects from collateral developments, expressive illustrations, and tradeshow booths to advertising campaigns, as well as digital assets for our website and social media. You will ensure the delivery of on-brand high-quality creative work with strong attention to detail while maintaining consistently high standards. A Graphic Designer at Zelis must aspire to be more than a pixel pusher.
OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage multiple projects from concept through completion in a fast-paced environment.
- Conceptualize, design, illustrate and execute a portfolio of print and digital materials such as direct mail pieces, advertisements, brochures, logo design, email campaigns, PowerPoint presentations, magazines/newsletters, sales support materials, tradeshow graphics/booth design, and other forms of marketing collateral.
- Develop, nurture, and maintain consistent company brand across all communications.
- Well-versed in fundamental design principles and innovative design trends.
- Conceive, design, and lay out creative artwork for published materials.
- Translate facts and features of subject matter into graphic terms to convey the intended message.
- Create graphic presentations that communicate core values and business objectives.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and create cost-efficient Graphic Design solutions through available mediums.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- BS/BA plus 5+ years of demonstrated experience in a Graphic Designer and illustrator role within a corporate marketing department and /or agency.
- Advance illustration skill is a must.
- The ability to meet tight deadlines and work with stakeholders at all levels across the organization with a sense of urgency, positive attitude, and flexibility is essential to success.
- Ability to conceptualize, design, illustrate and execute a portfolio of print and digital marketing materials.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite & proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Must display exceptional attention to detail in design, planning, organization, communication, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Healthcare experience preferred.
- Proven success on high-impact projects. Must have an outstanding portfolio of creative work.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Graphic Design, art, or related discipline
