Position Summary
We’re looking for a bright, creative, digitally skilled Digital Graphic Designer with a background in Motion Graphics, who will contribute to elevating our brand experience on a daily basis and push the boundaries of creativity with insights and ideas. Your day-to-day work will create stunning designs that will inspire our customers and keep a consistent brand direction with external and internal stakeholders.

Digital Graphic Designer (Global Timberland)
You will be a trusted member of our Global Marketing team, reporting to the Director, Brand Creative. You will interact with an enthusiastic global marketing team with huge ambitions to move the brand forward, partnering with other members of the Global Marketing Team to bring to life a consistent brand identity across digital and physical channels.
How You Will Make a Difference

WHAT WE EXPECT YOU ALREADY KNOW/HAVE :

A demonstrated ability to work with a team and a must-have track record in executing tasks/projects
Knowledge of the graphic design process, production procedures, applications and methods, and latest techniques for on-product printing processes
The ability to design multiple concepts with different looks for the same project
A firm grounding in design principles and an understanding of typography and design theory
A strong understanding of color theory and best design practices for color usage on product
Must possess effective communication and teamwork skills
Must have good presentation skills with the ability to articulate the strategy behind design concepts and how those concepts meet the strategic objectives
Possess strong conceptual and verbal skills
Extensive experience managing and estimating personal time outlays for each project
Advanced skills and experience in visual design and awareness of current technologies
Proficient in Macintosh OS, Photoshop, InDesign (a must), Illustrator, Premiere Pro is a plus, Word, and Excel
An overall understanding of the outdoor market and competitive landscape.
Possess a solid graphic design portfolio.
A proven ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-oriented environments

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Create and maintain brand consistency throughout all on- and offline channels globally across the Global Marketing organization
Partner with the Art Director to ensure marketing graphics have a consistent creative direction and brand identity and that all collateral complies with Timberland brand standards
Create designs for social media, eCommerce banners, and email
Create templates and visuals for Keynote and PowerPoint presentations for our internal meetings and conferences
Partner with the Creative Direction and Art Director to design the new brand book

HOW YOU WILL DO IT:

Utilize a variety of digital design tools, and ensure inspiring and innovative ideas and campaigns
Share knowledge and expertise with other members of the Creative team, and provide inspiration, knowledge, and guidance to other members
Support the final toolkits executions for Seasonal Advertising Campaigns
Build collaborative relationships with the entire marketing team, including the Senior Manager, Brand Design, the Manager of Digital Art Direction, and the Manager of Environment
