Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Grant Writer to join our team. As a Grant Writer, you will be responsible for researching, writing, and submitting grant proposals to secure funding for our organization. The ideal candidate will have strong writing and research skills, as well as experience in fundraising and program development.

Duties:
- Research potential grant opportunities and stay up-to-date with current funding trends
- Write clear, concise, and compelling grant proposals
- Collaborate with program managers to gather necessary information for grant applications
- Develop budgets and financial plans for grant proposals
- Proofread and edit grant proposals to ensure accuracy and effectiveness
- Manage contracts and reporting requirements for awarded grants
- Maintain a database of grant applications and outcomes
- Assist in strategic planning for fundraising initiatives

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., English, Communications, Nonprofit Management)
- Proven experience in grant writing or a related field
- Strong research skills to identify potential funding sources
- Excellent writing and editing abilities with attention to detail
- Knowledge of fundraising principles and strategies
- Proficiency in using databases and software such as Raiser's Edge
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational and time management skills
