Shooting Stars Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, is dedicated to providing high quality tech education to all. Responsibilities
- Study and understand the history, structure, objectives, programs and financial needs of the organization.
- Review past grant proposals
- Research grant opportunities from government and non-government agencies.
- Draft grant proposals and supporting documents based on the funding requirements of the organization.
- Submit proposals to program managers and executive leaders for approval.
- Respond to internal and external queries on drafted and submitted proposals.
- Maintain positive relationships with fund providers and other stakeholders.
- Maintain records and submit reports related to grant opportunities.
- Participate in and eventually lead a weekly meeting for grant updates
Educational & Experiential Requirements
- Bachelors degree or higher
- 5+ years of grant writing experience, preferably for non-profit organizations
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 10 per week
