Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Freelance Grant Writer to join our team on a contract basis. This role involves researching, writing, and submitting grant proposals with a focus on results. Compensation is structured as a percentage of the grant funds awarded, incentivizing successful grant acquisitions.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and research grant opportunities that align with our organization’s objectives.
Craft compelling grant proposals, including narratives, applications, and supporting documents.
Manage and oversee the entire grant application process.
Maintain a comprehensive calendar of grant deadlines and requirements.
Collaborate with team members to gather necessary information and develop a strong proposal strategy.
Track grant submissions and outcomes, providing regular updates to the team.
Qualifications:
License in Grant writing
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. (Preferred)
Proven experience in grant writing with a record of successful grant acquisitions.
Strong writing, analytical, and research skills.
Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
Familiarity with the nonprofit sector and fundraising strategies.
Compensation is based on a percentage of the grant funds awarded.
Specific percentage and payment terms will be discussed during the hiring process.
