Summary of Position
The GCA I serves as a research administration professional within Support Team for the Administration of Research (STAR), accepting workflow assignments and providing the highest level of service to faculty in preparing grant proposals for timely submission and assisting with post-award activities. As an integral part of the research administration community and in support of the university’s overall research mission, this position requires an unwavering commitment to service and excellence in a deadline-driven environment.. Due to the ever-evolving nature of the work and peak proposal seasons, this position requires a willingness to flex work schedules to accommodate unforeseen challenges or high volume, and may require occasional overtime, subject to management prior approval.

Other minimum qualifications
Associate’s degree and related experience or high school graduation and 3 years of experience in research administration or other administrative role, preferably at an institution of higher education or equivalent combination of higher education and experience totaling 3 years.
