We are looking for an Alarm Technician to work on remodel projects for Wal-Mart stores in Grand Rapids and Coldwater. Kalamazoo may be the best area to source from since it's halfway.
This position will require the use of a personal vehicle. Playing mileage and drive time. The tech will be able to start clocking time after 30 minutes of their commute. This position MAY require overnight stays in a hotel in which case we will handle booking the hotel. Per diem ($50 per night) is available for each night stayed in a hotel.
This position will be Monday-Friday. Hours are going to vary. Working swing shifts from about 6 pm- 2 am. Reason being is that all cable/lift work needs to be done after the store closes. 3rd shift officially runs from 9pm-6am but guys usually start around 6:00 and do the device mounting and anything that doesn't require a lift and then switch to lift work around 11 pm through the end of the shift.
