Job Description Summary
Tutoring position for Dr. Mais (MSPM adjunct faculty team) for MSPM I (PT 535).
Responsibilities
• Schedule and provide tutoring sessions; tutors may work around their own schedules but must notify tutees of their availability well in advance;
• Tutors are expected to assist tutees with study strategies and approaches to learning and test taking, not just reiterate course content.
• Tutors should work toward facilitating tutees' understanding of key concepts, relationships, and clinical application, if appropriate;
• Tutors are encouraged to work with tutees' learning styles and to assist with critical thinking, problem-solving, and clinical reasoning, to the degree possible;
• Tutees must abide by the applicable university student employment policies.
Required Qualifications
Fully knowledgeable about the job; be able to handle responsibilities independently and effectively. Possess undergraduate degree in similar and/or related field.
