Warehouse Receiving & Checking In Associate

Fisher’s Tools is a privately held, family owned business that operates on the principles of integrity and knowledge. We have a large and varied inventory consisting of well over 20,000 items from 400 manufacturers and vendors servicing the commercial construction industry. The candidate we’re looking for is a motivated individual seeking an opportunity for long term potential.

We are in need of a new Warehouse Receiving Associate to help us continue to keep up with demand and growth. The main focus will be Receiving & Checking In products as they are delivered from manufacturers. Attention to detail is crucial for candidates as this position effects our entire business. Skills with writing, paperwork, and organization are needed to excel in this position. Experience in receiving for other companies is preferred.

This position is part of our warehouse team, and when there is nothing to receive and check in, this person will help with other duties around the warehouses. Our warehouse team ensures our products are organized, stored properly, and ready to be deployed to the next jobsite or customer in our showroom.

This position reports directly to the warehouse manager and experience in our industry certainly helps. This is a full time (40 hours) position with the possibility of occasional overtime. The position hours are Monday thru Friday 8:30 AM to 5:PM. We pay well and have great benefits. Reliability is a requirement.

Type of Duties:

• Loading and unloading trucks
• Receiving and Checking In merchandise
• Completing & filing paperwork
• Warehouse maintenance, stocking, pulling orders
• Breaking down boxes & shipping materials
• Provides assistance to other team members as needed

To be a candidate for this position you must meet the following requirements:

• Must have a good attitude!
• A high school diploma is preferred
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Must be familiar with Windows based computer programs
• Must work well in a fast paced environment
• Must have Forklift experience. This position will require forklift certification at a scheduled training.
