ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the planning, evaluation, and management of the processing function for all domestic and international application types to include, transfer, graduate, non-degree seeking, transient, and readmission.
Responsible for managing the processing and evaluation of transfer, graduate, readmission, non-degree seeking, and transient student applications. Ensures that the admission processing functions are in compliance with established University and Board of Governors procedures and policies. Interprets State rules and regulations to determine initial residency classification. Troubleshoots online fee payment and application problems. Determines the appropriate course of action in unusual or extenuating circumstances relating to the processing of applications.
Interprets audit reports & manages the auditing of all application types at the beginning of each term. Assists with training part-time employees in the scanning and appending of transcripts to the application system.
This position counsels applicants, parents, college counselors, department representatives, & other University personnel (via phone, in person, or e-mail) regarding the processing of admission applications, providing expertise and advice regarding the application process.
QualificationsA Bachelor's degree and two years of experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and six years of experience. (Note: a combination of post high school education and experience equal to six years.)
A valid Florida or Georgia Driver's License.

Ability to gather, interpret, report, and/or edit information.
Ability to perform accurately in a detail-oriented environment.
Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments.
The ability to investigate, problem-solve, and evaluate information.
Knowledge of applicable computer applications and basic computer function.
