ResponsibilitiesThis position assists the Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions and the Senior Associate Dean for Enrollment and Finance with residency, Payment Card Industry compliance and reconciliation, and other processing functions for all graduate applicants.
Serves as a coordinator for processing Residency for graduate applicants. This includes but is not limited to working with applicants to assist, counsel, verify, confirm, and process their Residency as part of their graduate application. Collaborates with other Graduate School Admissions staff to process Residency data for graduate applicants.
Assists with all aspects of graduate application fee processes. This includes reconciliation of graduate applicant fees and any needed coordination with the graduate application system payment processor. Works with the Senior Associate Dean for Enrollment and Finance to keep all Payment Card Industry (PCI) forms, policies, standards, attestations, and other required documentation current. Performs all duties related to PCI to ensure PCI compliance for the Graduate School.
Assists with the processing for all domestic and international application types to include, transfer, graduate, non-degree seeking, transient, and readmission.
Assists with Graduate Admissions and Graduate school reporting. This includes ongoing data clean-up that is related to graduate admissions reporting. This also includes working with other Graduate School and FSU staff to prepare data for reporting purposes.
Participates in other special events hosted by the Graduate School. Also assists with other Graduate School sections during peak workload times as needed. Assists the Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions and Senior Associate Dean for Enrollment and Finance as needed on special projects.
QualificationsA Bachelor's degree and two years of experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and six years of experience. (Note: a combination of post high school education and experience equal to six years.)
- Experience prioritizing, organizing and performing multiple work assignments simultaneously.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word, and other applicable computer applications.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Knowledge of and the ability to interpret and apply related University policies, procedures, principles, and practices.
- Ability to evaluate process effectiveness and develop change or alternatives.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Knowledge of university admissions processes.
- Excellent organizational, customer service, and communication skills.
- Experience gathering, interpreting, reporting, and/or editing information.
- Experience performing accurately in a detail oriented environment.
- Ability to meet project deadlines.

The anticipated salary range for this position is around low to mid $40,000's annually, commensurate with education and experience.
