Position Summary
The UIC Department of Prevention and Public Health is seeking Graduate Students in the UIC School of Public Health to Assist in research activities such as designing surveys, research posters, and presentations, preparing data tables, and writing abstracts and manuscripts
Duties & Responsibilities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in social science or related field
- Evidence of knowledge and/or experience in social science research principles, concepts, and methods
- Evidence of proficient written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a Public Health or policy-related field
- Highly organized, detailed, and task-oriented
- Experience in the design and implementation of qualitative evaluation plans, including conduct and analysis of data from focus groups and interviews
- Ability to design, administer and analyze surveys, including online survey implementation
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently
