Job description

NVIDIA's invention of the GPU in 1999 sparked the growth of the PC gaming market, redefined modern computer graphics, and revolutionized parallel computing. More recently, GPU deep learning ignited modern AI - the next era of computing - with the GPU acting as the brain of computers, robots, and self-driving cars that can perceive and understand the world. Today, we are increasingly known as "the AI computing company." We're looking to grow our company, and build our teams with the smartest people in the world. Join us at the forefront of technological advancement. In this position, you'll be responsible for developing and enhancing various features in the GPU architecture.
What you will be doing:

  • Contribute to advancing GPU Architecture Simulators, GPU testing infrastructure and metrics.
  • Understand and model in C++, features for future graphics and parallel processing architectures.
  • Develop test plans and testing infrastructure.
  • Debug tests on architecture simulators.
  • Develop tools to validate performance models and verify functional models.

What we need to see from you:
  • Pursuing and completing an MS or PhD or having equivalent experience in a relevant discipline (CS, EE, math).
  • Strong programming ability in C, C++, and Python.
  • Deep knowledge of computer architecture and parallel programming.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:
  • Experience in graphics algorithms, and/or signal processing.
  • Prior architecture experience.
  • Programming in CUDA, DX and Vulkan.

With competitive salaries and a generous benefits package, NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world's most desirable employers. We have some of the most forward-thinking and hardworking people in the world working for us and, due to unprecedented growth, our best-in-class engineering teams are rapidly growing. If you're a creative and autonomous engineer with a real passion for computer architecture and technology, we want to hear from you!
The base salary range is 116,000 USD - 224,250 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
You will also be eligible for equity and benefits. NVIDIA accepts applications on an ongoing basis.
NVIDIA is committed to fostering a diverse work environment and proud to be an equal opportunity employer. As we highly value diversity in our current and future employees, we do not discriminate (including in our hiring and promotion practices) on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, gender expression, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, disability status or any other characteristic protected by law.
