Description
The Role:
Support development of the portfolio/business plan, tracking execution and results, ensuring action items are completed on time, facilitating communication to Business team.
Responsible for:
- Schedules the daily build plan for Assembly and Machining.
- Schedules and maintains our plant’s operating plan.
- Achieved 100 % on time ship to schedule every year. Zero missed shipments.
- Directly responsible for scheduling all future model builds to support Assembly Plants future builds.
- Works directly with our plant’s engineering change coordinator to set all breakpoints for part changes to set banks in a timely manner.
- Manages model year buildouts to ensure we minimize obsolescence. Directly communicates all buildout dates with Service to identify lifetime buildout quantities, and to ensure Service is stocked with new model parts.
- Support Functional Leader in the organization and running of the business (staff meetings, special assignments, etc.)
- Execute the portfolio/business planning process
- Manage and plan assignments along with priority goals and requirements in the preparation of difficult projects
- Develop and maintain the project business cases (deliverables, benefits, timing)
- Analyze execution of Functional initiatives versus the Functional Business plan
- Interpret complex quantitative and qualitative data and recommend solutions to unusual problems
- Manages budgets
- Execute the Functional competitive assessment process
- Collect and analyze key operating metrics for the group
- Handle a variety of special assignments
- Develop and conduct presentations for all levels of management
Required Qualifications:
- 2 years working with plant scheduling or forecasting
