Job Summary:
The Outside Golf Attendants are responsible for the overall look and feel of the outside operation, including first impression. The Outside Golf Attendants will deliver an exceptional first impression by providing exceptional member and guest service. Will always ensure a consistently high level of member/guest satisfaction and pride at the Palmetto Bluff Golf Club. The Outside Golf Attendant serves as the ambassador of the golf operation when members and guests first visit the property to play or practice golf. This role requires the Attendant to take care of the member and guests by carrying their clubs, setting up their clubs on mode of transportation, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of all outside areas.

Job duties include, although are not limited to:
- Ensure the cart staging area is free and clear of debris while preparing golf carts each shift with the appropriate amenities (i.e., bug spray, pencils, scorecard, hole location sheet, towels, tees, etc.).
- Ensure the front drive of the clubhouse is free and clean of debris.
- Maintain and keep the practice facilities and putting green well stocked.
- Load member bags onto golf carts and/or push carts
- Carry members' clubs from the bag drop to the staging area.
- Clean and store members' clubs properly.
- Greet all members and guests at the club with a warm welcome (The Golf Services Attendant is an important first impression).
- Maintain the golf car fleet and communicate any carts that are not working properly to Golf Maintenance.
- Interface with Caddie Master to ensure we have caddies when needed.
- Continual communication with the Golf Professional Staff about the tee sheet to ensure accurate billing to members and guests.
- Communicate to the Golf Professional Staff throughout the day for any needs and/or member and guest feedback.
- Assist the Head and Assistant Golf Professional in keeping par levels of golf supplies.
- Other duties as assigned by the Head Golf Professional and/or First Assistant Golf Professional.
- Must be engaging and outgoing.
- Experience at a high-end resort or private club is preferred.
- Must be able to multi-task.
- Highly ethical.
- Extremely versatile individual.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluency in English.
Physical Demands:
- Most work tasks are performed outdoors.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to exert a well-paced ability to reach different outlets and other departments of the Resort on a timely basis.
- Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, and hearing ability and visual acuity.
- Talking and listening occur continuously while communicating with guests, supervisors, and subordinates.
- Vision occurs continuously, with the most common visual functions being near vision and depth perception.
- Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
