Job description

THE CAROLINA COUNTRY CLUB - Golf Outside Operations Attendant

Duties shall include but not be limited to:

· Setup and maintain golf carts & practice range for daily use and during the day.

· Clean, restock and properly charge golf carts, clean & store range balls for the following day’s use.

· Greet Members and Guests at bag drop, load golf clubs on golf carts.

· Assist Golf Shop staff with event preparation and execution.

· Maintain a very clean and organized work and service area at all times.

· Use equipment such as golf carts, power washer and golf ball washer.

· Observe all Club safety practices and protocols.

· Participate in required training and meetings.

· Perform other tasks and duties as required.

Qualifications:

· Must be punctual and possess a very positive service attitude.

· No experience necessary but must have ability to understand and receive instruction.

· Work cooperatively with others in a team environment.

· Work Environment; Physical Demands:

· Work tasks are mainly performed outdoors and involve some physical strength and endurance. Must be able to work in varying temperatures and at times, inclement weather.

· Position requires walking and standing for long periods of time. Length of time may vary from day to day and task to task.

· Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.

· Must be able to exert and lift 25-50 lbs of force occasionally and 10-25 lbs of force frequently and up to 10 lbs on a regular and continuing basis to move objects.

· Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch frequently.

· Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.

Projected Work Schedule:

The Golf Outside Operations Attendant position is part-time and seasonal. Schedules may average around 15-25 hours per week. Hours are primarily afternoon/evening and weekends.
