Job Summary:
Golf Maintenance Lead- Under the direction of the Superintendent and/or Assistant Superintendents. Duties may include but are not limited to: Daily inspection of Golf Course conditions, assistance with safety training, assist with fertilizer applications, weekend staff supervision and oversight of proper daily work assignments s including special project work. Responsible for instructing staff on proper/safe equipment use and work methods, performs and/or supervises special projects and reports all disciplinary/quality control issues to the superintendent and assistant superintendent in a timely manner.

Job Responsibilities:
- Arrive on time and ready to work for each schedule shift
- Overseeing job performance and inspecting course conditions
- Enforce safe working conditions with all job assignments
- Supervise staff on scheduled weekends
- Quality control documentation and proper reporting
- Responsible for instructing staff on proper equipment use and work methods
- Supervise special projects
- Reports all disciplinary issues to the superintendent and/or assistant superintendent
- Ability to perform irrigation repairs
- Knowledge and ability to set up the irrigation computer for nightly watering
- In-depth knowledge and operating proficiency with regard to all equipment used in the daily golf maintenance operations
- Other Duties as Assigned
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required,
- Must have 3-4 years of experience in all aspects of Golf Course Maintenance
- Valid driver’s license required
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to comprehend written and oral instructions in English
- Must enjoy working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Applicants must be knowledgeable in all aspects of golf maintenance in order to train and instruct team members on the proper methods and safety procedures
The expected pay range is $22.00 - $23.76. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
