King City Golf Course is a nine-hole Golf Course that is part of a HOA located in King City, Oregon. We pride ourselves on maintaining pristine greens and providing an exceptional golfing experience for our residents, members, and guests.

Job Description:

As a Golf Course Maintenance Person, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the overall upkeep and appearance of our Golf Course and facilities. Some of the responsibilities will include:

• Mowing and Edging: Operate mowers and other equipment to maintain greens, tees, approaches, fairways, rough, and common ground areas.
• Irrigation: Learn how to maintain and repair the system golf and common ground.
• Bunkers: Maintain sand bunkers by edging and hand raking.
• Weeding and Landscape: Assist in landscaping maintenance, including weeding, planting spring and fall flowers, hand water areas in summer, and tree care.
• Equipment Care: Properly maintain and store the equipment.
• Course Set-Up: Prepare the course for daily play by setting tee markers, flags, and holes locations.
• Pools: Be able to test KCCA pools and spa and adjust pool chems if needed.
• Building Maintenance: Some janitorial work like buffing floors, painting, ice melt on walks in winter, and pressure washing walks.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Use hand tools, such as: shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge or brush trimmers, and pool/landscape/building maintenance equipment.
• Work safely, adhering to uniform and PPE guidelines.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality for scheduled shift.
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with diverse personalities.

Qualification:

• Previous experience in Golf Course Maintenance or landscaping preferred.
• Knowledge of Golf Course operations and equipment.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Pool maintenance.
• Attention to detail and strong work ethic.
• Oregon drivers license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour
