Yellowstone Club’s Golf Course Maintenance department is currently seeking candidates for Intern positions.
The purpose of the Golf Course Maintenance Intern is to assist all the Golf Course Maintenance staff in the day-today operations of the department. This internship offers a great opportunity to learn a tremendous amount about Golf Course management and how to succeed as a professional in the business.
Responsibilities Include:
- Work with the Superintendent, Assistant Superintendents, Landscape Manager, Golf Course Maintenance Operators to perform all aspects of the daily department duties.
- Perform Golf Course Maintenance support to consistently meet overall goals.
- Rotate through temporary assignments in the Golf Maintenance department to obtain a complete picture of day-to-day duties and responsibilities.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn.
- Participate in various departmental projects.
Position Requirements:
- Pursing a Turfgrass Management degree at a credited university
- Previous work experience on a Golf Course
- Experience applying fertilizers and pesticides
- Prior hand-watering experience on greens
- Valid State Driver’s License
- Previous work experience at a resort or Club preferred
