As a Gogo Summer 2024 Intern:Software GUI Engineering you will contribute to the development and testing of GUI applications which support our embedded systems. The experience will provide the right candidate with a well-rounded experience as well as an introduction to the operations of an aircraft engineering organization.

How will you make a difference and learn?
Depending on your skills and experience you will:
- Have the opportunity to work hands-on developing and testing GUI software deployed on various types of systems
- Learn and work in an environment that utilizes the Scrum Agile development methodology.
- Be trained on how to write and execute test cases as well as testing processes for our GUI applications
- If you have experience scripting in Python, you may also have the opportunity to work with our automation team developing test programs and test cases driven through our GUI applications for our embedded systems
Qualifications
- Working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Science or related field
- You must be enrolled in an accredited school.
- This is a paid summer internship that requires an average availability of 40 hours per week from May-August.
Preferred Skills, Academic Experience and Talents
- Proficiency in JavaScript, CSS, HTML
- GUI application development in React.js
- Experience with React tools such as Jest for test development
- Good understanding of techniques to troubleshoot and debug applications
- Has used SCM tools such as Git, and code review tools
Bonus Skills, Experience and Talents
- Programming experience with Python
- Programming experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting
This paid internship requires an average availability of 40 hours per week during the summer of 2024 in Gogo BA's main office located in Broomfield, CO. Interns are full-fledged members of the team -engaged from day one through structured training, mentorship, a diverse set of experiences, a network of peers across the company, and leadership opportunities. Our internship program is designed to provide exposure to real, complex operational projects in which you will be working with a variety of people in different business functions. Not located in Colorado? No problem! Gogo Business Aviation will provide a $2,500 stipend to assist with your living expenses during your internship. This one-time sign on bonus will be paid in the first payroll following your start date.
