Position Summary:
A member of the Department of Emergency Medicine who has the responsibility, authority and accountability for coordinating and directing patient care for a specific group of patients within the Department of Emergency Medicine. This team member has the qualifications and experience to care for patients of all ages from neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.
Minimum Qualifications:
GN:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Enrolled in a program for professional nurses
- Letter of recommendation from School of Nursing Critical Care/ED Instructor.
- Commitment to work at Memorial Medical Center Emergency Department for 24 months after completing internship.
RN:
- Graduation from a program for professional nurses.
- One year experience or less
- Letter of recommendation from Nurse Manager
- Satisfactory Performance Appraisal. No performance improvement actions over the past twelve months
- Commitment to work at Memorial Medical Center Emergency Department for 24 months after completing internship.
