GMP Cleaner
Schedule 22:00pm-06:30am Monday-Sunday, days off during the week M-F, working on Holidays
This position requires strict adherence to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), established cleaning practices and procedures, and compliance with quality standards and regulations.
To ensure accurate completion of area logbooks as required by SOPs.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience on a biopharmaceutical GMP controlled environment preferred.
- English usage, reading.
- Attention to detail is required.
- Excellent attendance record.
- Must follow work instructions.
- Highly organized and excellent record-keeping abilities.
- Ability to frequently move and lift 50+ pounds.
- No make-up, nail polish, and/or jewelry may be worn in the GMP process areas.
- Extended periods of standing, walking, pushing, and pulling, bending, and crouching, climbing, and lifting of equipment and/or materials weighing up to 50 pounds
- Continuous mental and visual attention to manufacturing functions.
- Continuous standing and walking throughout work day.
- Majority of time spent in cleanroom, fully gowned including head covering, facemask, gloves, plant shoes, safety glasses/goggles and/or face shield.
- Perform sanitization activities with ceiling mops, wall mops, floor mops, and wipers.
- Good documentation skills
- Requires pride in delivering excellent service, organization, and high levels of energy and endurance.
Responsibilities
- Working non-standards shifts, Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays.
- Perform all required daily, weekly, and monthly cleanings.
- Damp mop all floors using a variety of cleanroom disinfectants and utilizing cleanroom rated equipment following established cleanroom cleaning procedures.
- Wipe, clean all horizontal & vertical surfaces, to include doors, door frames, & entrance glass and partitions with IPA.
- Completes GMP documentation including records and logbooks.
- Comply with Health, Safety and Environmental responsibilities for the position.
- Follow relevant Standard Operating Procedures, Site Quality procedures in ensuring 100% compliance.
- Must be able to work overtime when needed.
- Required to obey all warning and safety signs and read labels on cleaning products.
- A supervisor or manager may assign other duties to meet client’s requests.
